The campaign of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji, popularly known as KSA, has received a further boost following the endorsement of his candidacy by the Isokan Ere Ododo Muslim Cooperative Society in Ido Local Government Area.

The endorsement came when KSA’s campaign train paid a strategic visit to the cooperative society at Awotan, Ido Local Government Area, as part of his ongoing grassroots engagement across the constituency.

During the visit, the APM candidate met with executive members, selected leaders and members of the cooperative, an association with membership spread across the wards in Ido Local Government Area.

KSA was warmly received by the leadership and members of the society, who described him as a grassroots-oriented leader with a reputation for community support and development across the constituency.

Speaking on behalf of the cooperative, some of its leaders said KSA was specially invited to the meeting to enable the association formally declare its support for his ambition to represent the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.

The group pledged its commitment to mobilising its members in support of KSA and the APM ahead of the forthcoming general election.

Members of the cooperative also expressed dissatisfaction with what they described as the level of representation currently being experienced in the constituency.

A representative of the group said members had previously supported the incumbent representative, Hon. Remi Oseni, but were disappointed by what they considered unmet expectations and inadequate attention to their community’s needs.

The cooperative consequently declared its decision to shift its political support to KSA, expressing confidence in his vision and capacity to provide effective and people-oriented representation.

Responding to the endorsement, Engr. Adedeji expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of the cooperative for their confidence and support.

He reiterated his commitment to grassroots development, noting that his political aspiration was driven by a desire to improve the welfare of the people and contribute meaningfully to the development of communities across Ido/Ibarapa East.

KSA highlighted some of the community development and empowerment initiatives he has supported across the constituency, stating that his interventions have been motivated by a personal commitment to the welfare and progress of the people.

He assured the gathering that if elected into the House of Representatives, he would pursue effective, accountable and impactful representation while strengthening his focus on grassroots development and empowerment.

According to him, his continued support for communities, even without holding an elective office, demonstrates his commitment to service and his readiness to contribute more significantly when entrusted with a public mandate.

As part of his support for the cooperative and its members, KSA presented a sum of ₦1 million to the Isokan Ere Ododo Muslim Cooperative Society to support its cooperative activities and economic empowerment initiatives.

The financial support was received with appreciation by the leadership and members of the association, who reiterated their commitment to supporting KSA’s ambition and mobilising for his candidacy ahead of the elections.

The engagement formed part of KSA’s continuing consultations and grassroots campaign activities across the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
