Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, has appointed Mr Ademola Aderinto as the Senior Special Assistant on Public Works, while he also appointed Mr Lamidi Kazeem Ajibola as his Special Assistant on Environment. The appointments were announced in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi. Aderinto, a Civil Engineer, was formerly the Special Assistant to the Governor on Environment. The governor tasked the new appointees to discharge their duties with dedication, commitment and loyalty to the state.The appointments are with immediate effect.

The Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Oyo State, on Wednesday, presented the report of the implementation of Quarters 1 & 2 of the 2025 Budget, saying that the state achieved 80 per cent revenue for the half-year budget performance between January and June.
