The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Atiba, Afijio, Oyo East and Oyo West Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Hon. Afolabi Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as Aloma, has extended warm congratulations to the Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade, on the occasion of his 52nd birthday and wedding anniversary.
In a congratulatory message, Aloma described the monarch as a symbol of unity, cultural pride and exemplary leadership whose reign continues to promote peace, progress and the preservation of the rich Yoruba heritage.
He commended the Alaafin’s commitment to the development of Oyo Kingdom, noting that the monarch’s wisdom, humility and dedication to the welfare of his people have continued to earn him admiration within and beyond the ancient town.
Aloma prayed for God’s continued guidance, sound health and long life for the revered traditional ruler, expressing confidence that the Alaafin would continue to provide purposeful leadership that would foster greater unity and sustainable development across Oyo Kingdom.
The PDP standard-bearer also congratulated the royal couple on the celebration of their wedding anniversary, describing their union as a testament to love, mutual respect and enduring commitment.
He wished the Alaafin and his family many more years of peace, joy, prosperity and fulfilment in the service of humanity and the advancement of the Oyo Kingdom.
