While stating that the project’s approval will improve connectivity within the affected communities, stimulate socio-economic activities, enhance the movement of people and goods, and improve the livelihoods of residents, the royal fathers expressed optimism in OYSROMA’s capacity, under Ogunlade’s supervision, to deliver a quality road project on time.
“Hon. Ogunlade has indeed proven that he’s a pride of Oyo town. He has written his name in gold with this facilitation, and we are very grateful for his efforts and for securing the approval of Governor Seyi Makinde before the expiration of his tenure for the construction of the 4-kilometre Idi-Igba-Akinmorin Road in Ilora, Afijio local government area. We will never forget this,” the royal fathers stated.
The royal fathers also expressed appreciation to Governor Makinde for prioritizing critical road infrastructure, saying the project would improve transportation, enhance commercial activities, and positively impact residents’ livelihoods.
