Barr. Akeem Agbaje, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and two-term governorship aspirant in Oyo State, has expressed profound sadness over the death of Pa Mogaji Sobaloju Oyebamiji Olorode, an elder statesman, who passed away in the early hours of today.

In a heartfelt condolence message, Barr. Agbaje described Baba Olorode’s passing as a deeply personal loss, noting the pivotal role the late leader played in supporting his political journey and strengthening the progressive cause in Ogbomoso and Oyo State.

“Baba Olorode was not just a senior figure in our party; he was a father, confidant, and a guiding force whose loyalty to our shared political ideals never wavered.”

“He was a pillar of support in moments of both challenge and progress, offered wise counsel at critical moments, and remained a firm believer in the vision we share for a better Oyo State. His passing is not only a painful loss to the APC family, particularly in Ogbomoso, but also to me personally.”

“Baba was a man of principle and discipline, deeply rooted in the values of justice and equity. His life of selfless service and humility leaves a standard for all of us to emulate.”

“I pray Almighty Allah grant our father and leader, Pa Mogaji Sobaloju Oyebamiji Olorode, eternal rest, forgive his shortcomings, and admit him into Aljannah Firdaus. May his memory remain a source of strength and inspiration for us all. Ameen.”
