…as Oyeniyi pledges loyalty to Gov Makinde
The Chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Government, Hon. Oyeniyi Oyedokun Timothy, has congratulated Hon. Akinwale Akinwole Wolekanle on his appointment as the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
Oyedokun described Wolekanle as a round peg in a round hole, expressing confidence that his experience in public administration and political engagement would be valuable in his new position.
Wolekanle was appointed by Governor Makinde following the resignation of the former Chief of Staff, Chief Segun Ogunwuyi.
In his congratulatory message, Oyedokun described the appointment as a recognition of Wolekanle’s experience and contributions to public service, noting that his background in governance would be useful in supporting the smooth coordination of government activities and the implementation of the governor’s policies and programmes.
The Ogbomoso South council chairman also expressed his loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde, stressing that Wolekanle would bring dedication, commitment and a strong sense of responsibility to the office, while working with other members of the administration to advance the development agenda of Oyo State.
He further wished the newly appointed Chief of Staff success in his new assignment, expressing confidence that his tenure would contribute to effective governance and the continued development of the state.
Oyedokun’s congratulatory message adds to the goodwill extended to Wolekanle following his appointment to the strategic position in the Oyo State Government.
