The Oyo State Supervisors’ Forum has congratulated the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ademola Obafemi Ojo, popularly known as “Ijaya,” on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.

In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Friday, the forum described the commissioner as a committed public servant and an astute political leader whose contributions to the development of local government administration in Oyo State have continued to attract commendation.

The message was jointly signed by the Coordinator of the forum, Alarape Kabeer Imam, and the Secretary, Azeez Waheed Emiloju.

The forum acknowledged Ojo’s commitment to strengthening the relationship between the state government and local government administrations, noting that his experience, accessibility and dedication to public service have contributed significantly to the effective coordination of local government affairs across the state.

According to the Supervisors’ Forum, the commissioner’s role in advancing grassroots governance requires commitment, maturity and a clear understanding of the needs of the people, qualities which it said Ojo has consistently demonstrated in the discharge of his responsibilities.

The forum further commended the commissioner for his leadership and engagement with stakeholders within the local government system, stressing that his efforts have helped to promote greater cooperation and understanding among relevant stakeholders.

The Supervisors also described Ojo’s birthday as an opportunity to celebrate his contributions to governance and appreciate his service to the people of Oyo State.

They prayed for God to grant the commissioner many more years in good health, wisdom, strength and renewed capacity to continue serving the state and contributing to its growth and development.

The forum also expressed optimism that Ojo would continue to deploy his experience and expertise toward the actualisation of the administration’s development agenda, particularly in strengthening grassroots governance and improving the welfare of residents across the state.

The Oyo State Supervisors’ Forum wished the commissioner a joyous birthday celebration and a fulfilling new year of life, while urging him to remain steadfast in his service to the state and humanity.
