In a renewed demonstration of his commitment to inclusive, grassroots-driven politics, the Allied Peoples’ Movement, APM, candidate for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji, popularly known as KSA, has intensified consultations across communities with a high-level visit to the Omi Adio Central Mosque and strategic engagements with ethnic groups, market leaders, and educational stakeholders.

The outreach, held on, formed part of KSA’s ongoing statewide consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections. It brought together traditional leaders, market executives, headmasters and headmistresses, landlords, and representatives of the Igbo, Igede, Igala, Hausa, and Fulani communities resident in Omi Adio and its environs. The event was marked by cultural solidarity chants, goodwill messages, and resounding calls for unity, peaceful coexistence, and collective political participation.

Addressing the gathering, Engr. KSA emphasized that his political mandate is rooted in the people and driven by the principles of inclusion, equity, and service.

“In my address, I introduced myself to the elders, traders, residents, and members of our diverse ethnic nationalities present. My name is Engineer Adedeji Kolawole Shehu, and many of you know me as KSA,” he said.
“Our movement is not built on division or exclusion. It is built on the belief that every community, every ethnic group, and every market in Ido/Ibarapa East deserves a voice in governance. What we are building is a politics of partnership, where headmasters, market women, landlords, and community leaders all have a seat at the table. The strength of Omi Adio lies in its diversity, and that diversity must be reflected in the decisions that affect our future.”

Engr. Kolawole commended the market leaders and community stakeholders for maintaining peace and unity within the constituency, noting that such cohesion is the foundation upon which sustainable development can be achieved.

Also speaking at the event, Hon. Omotosho Olayinka Rafiu expressed appreciation to the market leaders, landlords, and ethnic representatives for their continued support and prayers for the APM project. He greeted the various ethnic groups present and urged them to remain united as the 2027 political season approaches.

Community coordinators and cultural representatives who delivered goodwill messages stressed the importance of peaceful coexistence and collective participation in shaping the political future of the constituency. They noted that KSA’s consistent engagement with grassroots structures distinguishes him as a leader who listens before he leads.

Special recognition was accorded to Alhaji Ibrahim Sali, identified as a representative of the Seriki leaders in the area, for his role in fostering harmony among the diverse ethnic communities.

The engagement at Omi Adio Central Mosque is one in a series of consultations Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji has undertaken across communities in Ido/Ibarapa East. Supporters at the event described the outreach as a clear demonstration of his connection to the grassroots and his readiness to provide leadership that is both accessible and accountable.

Market leaders, landlords, and ethnic representatives commended KSA for his consistent presence and for recognizing the contributions of all communities, regardless of origin or background. They pledged continued support and called on other political actors to emulate the model of inclusive engagement.

The APM campaign team stated that the Omi Adio engagement aligns with KSA’s broader vision of building a federal constituency where economic opportunities, educational advancement, and social cohesion are prioritized.

As the 2027 elections approach, Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji reaffirmed his commitment to running a campaign anchored on dialogue, respect for diversity, and policies that address the real needs of the people.
