She’s Worthy of Emulation –Olatunji Showers Praises on Retiring Oluyole HLGA, Alhaja Noibi After 35yrs of Service

The executive chairman of Oluyole local government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji has called senior and junior management staff of the Council to endeavor to emulate the life of Alhaja Qudirat Noibi, the outgoing Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA) after a meritorious 35 years of civil service.

Olatunji, who described Alhaja Noibi, as a trusted and dependable hands, revealed that her vast experience in navigating difficult times and administrative bottlenecks would be sorely missed as she bows retires from active service.

Speaking on Tuesday at the valedictory and send forth ceremony held at the LG Secretariat, Idi-Ayunre, Ibadan, in honor of the retiring HLGA, Olatunji said Alhaja Noibi has demonstrated all the qualities of a sound administrator particularly in handling sensitive grassroots matters.

Olatunji noted that her selflessness and dedication to quality service delivery have distinguished her as a woman of great substance and high repute in both her public and private life.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the ceremony, Olatunji said, “If I had the opportunity to extend her years of service, I would gladly do so, I have never regretted working with her. She is not self-centred; she always fights for others and never for her personal interest.”

Olatunji explained that her life should be a source of inspiration to other management staff while imploring junior staff members of the council to always available themselves the opportunity to draw from her wealth of experience in the civil service.

He assured that his administration will always seek her guidance whenever the need arise stressing that even though the celebrant is retiring from service, her hands are still active and could be called upon for the development of Oluyole LG.

The ceremony which recorded the presence of top local government management officials, Leader and members of the Council’s Legislative House, religious and traditional leaders as well as her husband and family members also had leaders and members of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) in attendance.

While wishing Alhaja Noibi well in all her future endeavors, Olatunji maintained that in his entire period of working with her since assumption of office, he has never had any reason to regret, describing her as a veritable support system for balanced and smooth running of government.

LG Directors, elected and appointed local government officials took turns to eulogize Alhaja Noibi, describing their relationship with her as more of motherly affection than official connection.

Olatunji however, expressed optimism that her successor would be rise up to the occasion with similar leadership qualities required for accelerated grassroots development.
