The Supervisory Councillor for Works, Oyo East Local Government has poured encomiums and eulogized Distinguished Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu as she is about to celebrate her 67th birthday on Thursday, April 9.
Hon. Ibraheem Olojule described the former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly as a woman extraordinaire who is truly worthy of being loyal to and has used her position to positively impact several people, especially the less privileged in society.
It’s not a gainsaying or an exaggeration if I refer to her as the most impactful, influential, wonderful, committed, and virtuous woman in the game of politics in Oyo State.
Celebrating the 67th birthday on earth is a great milestone in one’s life and it’s marvelous in our sight. Iya mi Aduke as I fondly called her, is an unblemished role model to a generation and a game changer who deserves to be celebrated even on and off of her special day.
A woman of faith and a woman for a better society, who has been deeply committed to a better society through her numerous social and political works which have set a great example that remains unmatched.
She’s indeed our demi-god, a very rare gem, and a gift of God to so many people. Other students in her citadel of learning are very lucky to have a woman like her in their lives and to be associated with her. Thank you mummy for all you’ve done and are still doing.
Your passion for development and exemplary leadership of thought have inspired many. A woman who’s a mother to all and a steadfast matriarch of the Oyo political Dynasty.
