In-law Burial: Dare Adeleke Stood By Chief Bode George

In a strong show of loyalty and respect, prominent PDP chieftain and public servant, Hon. Dare Adeleke, stood firmly by former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, during the burial ceremony of Chief George’s in-law, held over the weekend.

The solemn event, attended by political figures, dignitaries, and community leaders, as well as Prince Siyanbola Oladigbolu, a direct descendant of two Alaafins of Oyo, joined the madedor family to commiserate took place in Lagos State and drew a large turnout from across the country.

Dare Adeleke, known for his unwavering commitment to party unity and deep personal ties within the PDP hierarchy, was visibly present to offer his support to Chief Bode George and his family during their time of grief.

Adeleke, who currently serves as a member of the PDP South-West zonal leadership, was described by observers as “a dependable ally” as he joined the family in paying final respects to the departed. His presence not only underscored his close relationship with Chief George but also reflected the enduring values of solidarity and loyalty that are often spoken of but rarely seen in action within today’s political landscape.

Speaking briefly to reporters at the event, Adeleke extended his condolences and praised Chief Bode George for his strength and dignity in the face of personal loss. He emphasized the importance of standing by one another beyond political affiliations, especially in times of mourning.

The burial rites were conducted with dignity, blending Christian traditions with Yoruba cultural rites, celebrating the life of the deceased while offering comfort to the bereaved.

As the PDP continues to navigate national dynamics ahead of upcoming elections, moments like this marked by compassion and camaraderie, provide a humanizing reminder of the bonds that unite its members beyond politics.
