Eid al-Adha: Olukitibi Felicitates Muslim Umah, Urges Moderation, Peace, Tolerance

The Executive Chairman Oyo West Local Government, Prince Salami Babatunde Akeem (OLUKITIBI), has extended warm greetings and Heartfelt Felicitations to the Entire Muslim Umah in Oyo West Local Government Area as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Adha festival.

Prince Salami described Eid-el-Adha as a sacred festival that symbolizes total submission to the will of Almighty Allah(S.A.W), Sacrifice, Obedience, Love, and Compassion for Humanity.

The Chairman urged Muslim faithful to continue to uphold the noble virtues exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS), particularly the spirit of Sacrifice, Patience, Tolerance, and Unwavering Faith in Almighty Allah.

According to him, “Eid-el-Adha is a Season of Reflection, Sacrifice, and Renewed Commitment to Peaceful Coexistence and Community Development. He encouraged all residents of Oyo West Local Government area to use this Festive Period to Pray for the Peace, Progress, and Unity of Our dear Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.”

Olukitibi further called on the people to celebrate responsibly, show Love to the Less Privileged, and maintain Harmony with one another irrespective of Religious or Political differences.

Prince Salami reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering good governance, people-oriented projects, and sustainable development across all communities in Oyo West Local Government Area.
He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the sacrifices and supplications of all and blesses every home with peace, joy, prosperity, and abundant grace.
