The Ward 3 of Lagelu Local Government was agog as party leaders, members, and stakeholders gathered for a vibrant political meeting that blended empowerment, unity, and leadership recognition.

The Supervisory Councillor for Medical Matters in Lagelu, Hon. Olutunde Benedict, demonstrated his commitment to grassroots welfare by distributing food items to members, a gesture warmly received as a mark of support and solidarity with the people.
A key highlight of the gathering was the formal introduction of the newly inaugurated Ward 3 executive team led by Chairman Lukman Adekunle. Other officers include Women Leader Mrs. Adeola, Youth Leader Rasheed Wasiu, Secretary Rotimi Abide, and other dedicated leaders tasked with steering the ward toward greater progress. Hon. Benedict charged them to uphold unity, strengthen party structures, and remain committed to the collective growth of Lagelu.

In his address, Hon. Benedict Olatunji commended the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudasiru Kamorudeen, for his effective leadership and developmental initiatives that continue to bring pride to the council.



He also poured encomiums on Chief Benedict Akika, the Agba’Akin of Olorunda-Abaa and founder of the Omituntun Benedict Forum, describing him as a dependable pillar of the party whose political stewardship has inspired loyalty, resilience, and dedication at the grassroots.
Similarly, Agba’Akin Akika encourages the members to keep believing and supporting the good governance of Governor Seyi Makinde, FNSE in Oyo State and beyond.

The meeting, which blended empowerment with political solidarity, was seen by participants as more than just a ward gathering.
