As the First Lady of Oyo State, Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, marks another year of grace and service on June 9, the Founder of the Omituntun Benedict Forum (OBF), Benedict Akika JP, has paid glowing tribute to her exemplary humanitarian contributions and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people.
In a birthday felicitation made available to 9ja News 24/7, Akika described the wife of Seyi Makinde as a remarkable woman whose life reflects compassion, humility, and selfless service. He noted that her influence extends far beyond her role as First Lady, touching countless lives through impactful initiatives aimed at empowering women, supporting vulnerable groups, and promoting family values.
According to him, Mrs. Makinde has continued to distinguish herself as a mother figure to many across Oyo State, championing causes that uplift the less privileged and create opportunities for sustainable development.
“Her Excellency is a woman of uncommon grace and a shining example of compassionate leadership. Through her dedication to maternal health, girl-child education, and community empowerment, she has become a source of hope and inspiration to thousands of families across our dear state,” Akika stated.
The OBF founder further commended the First Lady’s steadfast support for the administration of Governor Makinde, noting that her commitment to humanitarian service has complemented the government’s efforts in improving the lives of citizens.
He stressed that her numerous interventions and empowerment programmes have continued to make meaningful impacts in communities, particularly among women, children, and vulnerable populations.
Celebrating her new age, Akika offered prayers for greater wisdom, divine protection, and continued strength for the First Lady as she advances her service to humanity.
“On behalf of my family, the Omituntun Benedict Foundation, and associates across Oyo State, I congratulate our dear mother, Her Excellency Mrs. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, on this special occasion. May God bless her with many more years of good health, happiness, and impactful service to humanity,” he concluded.
