It is with a heavy heart that I mourn the passing of Alhaji (Chief) Abdul-Lameed Ajadi, a distinguished philanthropist, business mogul, and a Muslim to the core.
His departure leaves a void among us, but his legacy of kindness, generosity, and strong faith will forever inspire us. Alhaji Ajadi dedicated his life to uplifting others through his charitable deeds, supporting the less privileged, and building bridges of hope across Oyo State and beyond.
According to him; “I join countless others in offering my deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all those touched by his remarkable life. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
Alhaji Ajadi’s contributions as a business leader showcased his brilliance and determination, creating jobs and opportunities that strengthened our local economy.
His deep commitment to his faith was evident in how he lived — guiding others with wisdom and compassion and setting an example of integrity that sits with many. As someone who values community service, I am moved by his quiet dedication to improving lives, often behind the scenes, which makes him one of the unseen heroes whose impact we must celebrate.
His loss reminds us of the need to carry forward the values he stood for, values like love, hard work, and unity.
This moment also calls us to reflect on the power of giving back, a principle Alhaji Ajadi embodied so well. His philanthropy touched schools, mosques, and homes and left a sustaining mark on our immediate and extended neighbourhoods. I am personally inspired by his ability to blend business success with a heart for humanity, a balance I strive to uphold in my own journey of service.
To his family and the entire Oyo State community, I extend my prayers for strength and comfort during this difficult time and trust that his good deeds will continue to be an inspiration for us all.
I join to bid farewell to this great man, – let us honour his memory by committing to the growth and well-being of our state. I urge us to draw inspiration from his life, supporting one another and building a future that reflects his ideals.
