The Special Adviser to the Governor on Fire Service Reform/Chairman, Hon. Moroof Adebayo Akinwande, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslims ummah during the 2025 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a statement released and made available to the newsmen, Akinwande acknowledged the spiritual benefit of the sacred celebration and hoped that it would bring peace and prosperity to every household.
He also extended his best wishes to members and staff of the Oyo State Fire Service Agency for the outstanding performance, praying that the celebration of Eid al-Kabir would usher in a new era of peace, prosperity, and progress for all in the State.
He, however, urged Nigerians to emulate the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his son, Prophet Ismail (AS), who demonstrated absolute submission to the will of Allah, and to strive for peace, unity, and progress in their communities.
Equally, he urged the residents and Muslim ummah not to relent in praying for God’s guidance, strength, and wisdom for the Governor of the State, Engr. Seyi Makinde is transforming the state to greater heights.
Akinwande prayed to the Almighty to accept the sacrifices and prayers of Muslims and to accept their supplications.
He wished them a joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
