The Political Head/Council administrator of Oyo Southwest local Council Development, Hon. Alhaji Nureni Adesola Alade, has urged the Muslim faithful to reach out to those in need as they celebrate the 2025 Eid-el-Kabir festival.
Alade stated this in a statement released and made available to the newsmen on Friday. He extended warm felicitations to the Muslim ummah in the Eid al-Kabir sacrifice and spiritual benefit.
In his goodwill message; “As we celebrate Eid al-Adha, let’s be filled with gratitude to Almighty Allah for the unity and diversity that defines us. This special occasion reminds us of the importance of sacrifice, compassion, and generosity.
“During this time, let us remember those who are less fortunate than us, especially those in war and natural disasters, and reach out a helping hand to those in need.
“Let us embody the spirit of giving and look out for one another, regardless of our backgrounds or beliefs”. he said
“As your Council Chairman, I am committed to fostering a community that values inclusion, understanding, and harmony. Let us continue to build bridges of friendship and understanding amongst all members of our diverse community.
“I wish you all a joyous and peaceful Eid al-Adha. May the blessings of this occasion bring happiness and prosperity to your lives.
