Oyo State Forum of Supervisory Councilors Condoles with Gov Makinde Over Brother’s Demise

The Oyo State Forum of Supervisory Councilors has sent a heartfelt condolence message to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, following the sudden and painful passing of his beloved elder brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde early this morning.

In a statement released and made available to newsmen by the forum Chairman, Hon. Alarape Kabiru Imam, described the deceased as an exceptional individual who left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone he touched.

His demise has sent shockwaves throughout the state, with many describing him as a kind-hearted and compassionate person who will be deeply missed.

The statement read in parts;

“We are deeply saddened and shocked by the news of Engineer Sunday Makinde’s passing.”

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Governor Makinde, his family, and the entire Makinde dynasty during this incredibly challenging and emotional time.”

The forum praised Governor Makinde’s strength and resilience in the face of adversity, saying that his leadership and commitment to the welfare of the people of Oyo State have been a beacon of hope and inspiration to many.

“This, we stand in solidarity with Governor Makinde and his family as they navigate this dark hour.”

“We pray that God will grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and continue to lead our great state to greater heights.”
