The Ladilu of Oyo Kingdom and the former chief of staff to the Executive Governor of Oyo state , Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka , mourned the death of an elder statesman and former Secretary to Oyo state Goverment, Chief Micheal Koleoso who died in the early hours of Monday, September 2, 2024.
In a statement made available to Newsmen Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka described Baba koleoso legacy in public and private sector “indelible”.
The statement read, “With gratitude to God for a worthy life well spent in the service of Oyo state, Nigeria and humanity, I Received the news of the death of a venerable statesman, outstanding politician, public administrator and the Babalaje of Saki, Chief Michael Koleoso with a heavy heart.
“Baba Koleoso’s record of service as a Civil servant, secretary to the Goverment of oyo state and chairman of the Alliance for Democracy are all of remarkable achievements that will remain indelible for generations to come”.
“His death is a collosal loss and he will be missed by all. Our own relationship is one that if I attempt to make a long speech I feel I could not have spoken or scribble our relationship connectedly and coherently “But oh for the touch of a vanished hand, And the sound of a voice that is still”
“I will miss a Teacher. I will forever be grateful for the kind words and generosity of spirit he always afforded me. This was graciously given and was not earned”.
“I want to express my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Emi-Abata family of saki, friends and comrades of Baba Koleoso’ . Adieu
