The Presidential Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Engr. Seyi Makinde, on Sunday visited Angwan Rukuba in Jos, Plateau State, to commiserate with victims and families affected by the terror attack that claimed lives on March 26, 2026.

Engr. Makinde, who was received at the residence of the Mai Angwa, said his visit was not to politicize the tragedy but to stand in solidarity with the bereaved community as a fellow Nigerian and as a parent.

Speaking with deep emotion, the APM Presidential Candidate said, “I am here to sympathize with you over your pain and loss, both as a Nigerian and as a parent. We are praying that things like this do not happen again.

Do not give up on Nigeria. The Bible says that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. You are not alone; we are here to commiserate with you. Many Nigerians are deeply saddened by what took place.”

Engr. Makinde prayed for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives in the attack and for quick recovery for the injured. He also prayed for lasting peace in Rukuba, Jos, Plateau State, and Nigeria at large.

He reassured the community that Nigerians across the country share in their grief and stand with them in this difficult moment.
The visit forms part of the APM Presidential Candidate’s ongoing engagements in Plateau State, where he has continued to meet with stakeholders, traditional leaders, and affected communities under the RESET NIGERIA campaign.
