In recent times, it has become increasingly necessary to speak frankly to ourselves as members and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State. Many individuals proudly proclaim themselves as core loyalists of our great party.

However, loyalty is not merely a title one claims with words, it is a commitment that must be demonstrated consistently through visible actions and unwavering dedication.

If you truly believe that His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, is your number one leader in Oyo State, and if you genuinely hold the PDP as the party you believe in and stand firmly with, then such loyalty must be reflected in your daily conduct, public engagements, and political activities.

True allegiance is not hidden; it is boldly displayed in every effort you make to advance the party’s ideals and strengthen its image.

As we gradually approach the crucial 2027 general elections, this is not a time for half-hearted commitment or silent affiliation.

It is a period that demands clarity, courage, and visible unity.

Those who claim to be party loyalists must ensure that the PDP identity is evident in their awareness campaigns, publicity flyers, graphics, programmes, and events they organise.

The party’s logo and message should not be absent from the works of those who say they represent and believe in PDP.

We must understand that the political landscape is evolving rapidly, and this is a moment when everyone must clearly identify with those who truly stand for the party and its progressive vision.

As our powerful slogan declares, “Da Ti e Mo” — identify your own person.

It is time to distinguish between genuine loyalists who are committed to the growth and success of PDP and those who only claim membership when it is convenient.

Our party does not need pretenders or fair-weather members who shy away from openly associating with PDP.

What we require now, more than ever, are genuine, courageous, and committed members, individuals who are proud and happy to fly the party’s logo and promote its values in every political activity they undertake.

Loyalty must be proven through actions that build unity, strengthen structures, and reinforce public confidence in PDP’s leadership.

Let us remain steadfast, sincere, and proactive as we work collectively to sustain the progress and achievements recorded under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde and prepare ourselves for greater victories ahead.

The future of our party depends on authentic commitment, not empty declarations.

Let us rise to the occasion, demonstrate our loyalty through visible actions, and stand proudly as true ambassadors of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State.

Da Ti e Mo — Identify Your Own Person.
