The lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, has extended warm congratulations to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and his wife, Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, on the conferment of the prestigious chieftaincy titles of Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom respectively by Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Deji of Akure and Deji-in-Council.
Agboworin, in his congratulatory statement, described Governor Makinde as a true embodiment of the values that the title of Omoluabi represents.
The lawmaker, who is also the Chairman of House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, noted that the honour being accorded his principal and the wife is not surprising, given their track records of delivering outstanding results and improving the lives of residents of the state.
He said, “I want to congratulate my Principal, political mentor and his wife for this honour that was just given to them by Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, the Deji of Akure.
“This means a lot of to all of us. I believe they have both been recognized for their leadership skills and commitment to public service, which have equally earned them numerous accolades in the past and present.”

Agboworin praised Governor Makinde for his tireless efforts in delivering an Oyo State that is the envy of all States in Nigeria.

Regarding the First Lady, Agboworin commended her commitment to public service, particularly in uplifting children and women through various interventions.
