
The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has celebrated his predecessor and Chairman of the Oyo State Waste Management Authority, Hon. Waheed Akanbi Biiro, on his birthday, describing him as a distinguished leader whose contributions to grassroots development continue to leave a lasting impact.


Hon. Olufade joined family members, friends, political associates, and well-wishers in celebrating the former council chairman, commending his leadership, administrative experience, and enduring contributions to the development of Ibadan North Local Government.

In a congratulatory message made available through his Head of Media, Aderibigbe Yisahu Ajibola, Olufade described Biiro as a remarkable administrator whose tenure in office was marked by a commitment to grassroots development and service to the people.

“I am genuinely happy to celebrate my predecessor, Hon. Waheed Akanbi Biiro, on this special occasion of his birthday.


“His visionary leadership, commitment to grassroots development, and outstanding contributions to the growth of Ibadan North during his time in office continue to stand as an enduring legacy and a source of inspiration,” Olufade said.

The Ibadan North council chairman also acknowledged Biiro’s continued relevance in public service, noting that his position as Chairman of the Oyo State Waste Management Authority reflects his ongoing involvement in the state’s governance and development efforts.
Olufade further commended his predecessor’s continued service under the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, expressing optimism that his experience and dedication would continue to contribute to the progress of Oyo State.
