…Appointee Appreciates Makinde, Adekanmbi, Sunmonu, AROSAD, Pledges Grassroots Mobilisation for Poll Victory
The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has strengthened its grassroots campaign structure ahead of the 2027 general elections with the appointment of Hon. Adeniran Joel Adedapo as the Coordinator of the party’s Governorship and Presidential Campaign in Atiba Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The appointment was contained in an official statement made available to newsmen on Monday, September 28, 2026, and signed by the Coordinator of the APM Presidential Campaign and Director-General of the Oyo State APM Governorship Campaign Council, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran.
According to the statement, Hon. Adeniran Joel Adedapo is saddled with the responsibility of coordinating and driving the campaign activities of the party’s governorship and presidential candidates across Atiba Local Government, with a mandate to deepen the party’s presence at the grassroots.
Dr. Adeniran described the newly appointed coordinator as a tested grassroots mobiliser, loyal party member and astute administrator whose experience and organisational capacity would contribute significantly to the party’s campaign efforts in Atiba.
The appointment is part of the APM’s broader strategy to establish a formidable campaign structure across the 33 local government areas of Oyo State by entrusting grassroots mobilisation to experienced and committed party members.
In the same statement, Dr. Adeniran announced the appointment of 33 Local Government Campaign Coordinators and charged them to commence immediate grassroots mobilisation, engage stakeholders across wards and polling units, reconcile aggrieved members and effectively communicate the party’s programmes and youth-centred agenda to the electorate.
Reacting to his appointment, Hon. Adeniran Joel Adedapo expressed appreciation to the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu and Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi, popularly known as AROSAD, for the confidence reposed in him.
He described the appointment as a call to greater service and pledged to deploy his experience, network and grassroots relationships towards building a strong and united campaign structure across Atiba Local Government.
Hon. Joel assured the party leadership that he would work assiduously across the grassroots, engaging community leaders, youths, women, party stakeholders and other critical groups to mobilise support for the APM candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
He further pledged to ensure that the party’s message and programmes reach residents across the wards and polling units, while working with stakeholders to foster unity, inclusiveness and effective grassroots participation.
The Atiba Local Government Campaign Coordinator said he remained committed to working with the leadership and members of the party towards securing victory for the APM candidates at the polls.
He consequently called on party members and supporters across Atiba Local Government to remain united, committed and resolute in the collective effort to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.
