The Political Head of Aare Latosa Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ayoade Akeem, has congratulated Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade on his emergence as the consensus Chairmanship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for Ibadan North Local Government ahead of the forthcoming local government election.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, Hon. Ayoade described Olufade’s emergence through a unanimous consensus of party leaders and stakeholders as a well-deserved recognition of his outstanding leadership, administrative competence, and unwavering commitment to grassroots development.
He noted that the consensus arrangement reflects the unity, maturity, and internal cohesion within the Allied Peoples Movement, commending party leaders for prioritising dialogue and collective interest in the selection of the party’s flag bearer.
According to the Aare Latosa LCDA Political Head, Olufade has distinguished himself through purposeful leadership and people-centred governance, earning the confidence of party members and residents alike with his commitment to infrastructural development, improved service delivery, and inclusive administration.
Hon. Ayoade expressed confidence that the consensus candidate possesses the experience, vision, and capacity required to consolidate on the developmental achievements recorded during his first tenure, while delivering greater dividends of democracy to the people of Ibadan North Local Government.
“Your emergence as the consensus candidate is a clear testament to the trust and confidence reposed in your leadership by party leaders and members. It is also an acknowledgment of your remarkable contributions to the growth and development of Ibadan North Local Government,” he stated.
He urged members of the Allied Peoples Movement to remain united and steadfast in their support for the party, stressing that sustained unity and collective commitment would be instrumental to securing victory at the polls.
Hon. Ayoade further prayed for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for Olufade as he prepares for the election, expressing optimism that his continued leadership would usher in another phase of sustainable development, responsive governance, and improved welfare for residents across the twelve wards of Ibadan North Local Government.
