The Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service Agency, Hon. Moroof Adebayo Akinwande, has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde and the people of Oyo State on the successful delivery of two surveillance aircraft procured by the state government to strengthen its security architecture.

In a statement made available to journalists, Akinwande described the arrival of the aircraft as another landmark achievement of the Makinde administration, noting that the investment demonstrates the government’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives, property and critical infrastructure across the state.
According to him, the deployment of the surveillance aircraft will significantly enhance intelligence gathering, aerial monitoring and rapid response capabilities of security agencies, thereby complementing ongoing efforts to combat criminal activities and ensure a safer environment for residents.

The Fire Service Chairman commended Governor Makinde for fulfilling his promise to improve the state’s security infrastructure through modern technology and strategic investments, describing the initiative as a proactive step towards strengthening public safety and boosting investors’ confidence in Oyo State.


Akinwande further stated that improved security would not only foster economic growth but also enhance emergency response operations, particularly during disasters and other critical incidents where aerial surveillance can provide valuable support to emergency management agencies.
