A leading aspirant for the Oyo Federal Constituency seat, Hon. Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi, popularly known as AROSAD, has congratulated Barrister Seun Ashamu on his emergence as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) consensus candidate.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan, AROSAD described Ashamu’s emergence as a strategic step toward strengthening the party’s chances in the constituency, stressing that unity remains critical for electoral success.
He called on party members and supporters to rally behind the consensus candidate, noting that the focus should now shift from internal contestation to delivering victory for the PDP in the forthcoming election.
AROSAD, a former Executive Chairman of Oyo East Local Government and Chief Executive Officer of Arosad Properties and Consultancy Services, reaffirmed his commitment to the party’s progress and the development of the constituency.
Barrister Ashamu, who has held several key positions in the Oyo State government, previously served as Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, as well as Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources.
He currently serves as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning.
AROSAD expressed confidence in Ashamu’s experience and leadership capacity, adding that the party must work collectively to consolidate its influence and secure a decisive victory in the Oyo Federal Constituency.
