The Ido Local Government of Oyo State announces with profound grief the death of its former Chairman, Alhaji (Hon.) Moshood Kolawole Oyebamiji.
In a statement by the council under Executive Chairman Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the local government describes him as a pillar of the community and dedicated grassroots leader. He passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, leaving a deep void among political associates, residents, and those impacted by his service.
He has been buried according to Islamic rites. The 8-days fidau prayers are scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Genesis Hall, Challenge, Ibadan.
The council offers heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and associates, praying for his soul’s eternal rest and strength for his loved ones.
