It was an atmosphere of inspiration, joy, and hope for the future on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, as a young literary talent, Abdulazim Omofolaranmi Busari Yusuff Aderibigbe, the 10-year-old son of Oyo-born civil engineer, Alhaji (Engr.) Busari Yusuff Aderibigbe, made history by launching his first book titled “Courage in My Heart.”

The event was not just a book launch, but also a memorable way to mark Abdulazim’s 10th birthday, making it a double celebration of life and achievement.
The ceremony, which held in grand style, drew a remarkable gathering of top dignitaries, political leaders, business executives, academics, clerics, school authorities, family, friends, classmates, and teachers, all of whom came to celebrate the extraordinary feat of a boy still in JSS1 but already blazing a trail as an author.

Speaking during the launch, the young author revealed that his inspiration to write the book came from his personal journey of overcoming fear at an early age.

According to Abdulazim, he once struggled with fear of expression, but gradually, with encouragement from his parents, he conquered timidity and developed the courage to speak his mind, defend his thoughts, and stand firmly by his words.
“I used to be afraid of speaking out when I was younger.

But I told myself that courage lives in the heart.
Now I can express myself, defend my thoughts, stand by my words, and even defend my friends and siblings,” Abdulazim said with confidence.
The young author, who dreams of becoming a civil engineer like his father, said the book is a reflection of his journey into courage and a message to every young boy and girl to believe in themselves.
He further disclosed his ambition to continue writing, setting a personal goal of publishing at least one book every year.
During his interview with The Populist News correspondent, Abdulazim urged his peers to stay focused on their education, respect their parents and teachers, and build self-confidence.
“Boys and girls should pay attention in class, be obedient, and always stand for one another.
Most importantly, they should be self-confident, ambitious, and defend their words,” he advised.
In an emotional moment, Abdulazim’s proud parents, Engr. Busari Yusuff Aderibigbe and his wife, Mrs. Rukayat Busari, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all who graced the event. Engr. Busari, who hails from Atiba Local Government in Oyo State, described the book launch as a dream come true for his family.
