The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government Area, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his exemplary leadership and the smooth conduct of the recently concluded People’s Democratic Party (PDP) state congress in Oyo State.
Hon. Adeojo praised Governor Makinde for his consistent role as a unifying figure within the party, describing him as a political father whose leadership continues to elevate the PDP in the state. He noted that the governor’s inclusive and visionary leadership style has remained a rallying point for members across the state.
He also acknowledged the unrelenting effort of Otunba Seye Famojuro and other PDP stakeholders in the state towards the organisation of a peaceful state congress
“The successful conduct of the congress is a testament to Governor Makinde’s commitment to democratic values and internal party cohesion. His role as a stabilizing force within the PDP cannot be overstated,” Adeojo stated.
In his remarks, Adeojo also extended congratulations to both returning and newly elected state executive members of the PDP. He specifically lauded the election of Alhaji Ayuba Akinsola, former PDP Chairman in Ido Local Government, who now serves as the State Auditor.
According to Adeojo, Akinsola’s elevation to the state executive committee is a welcome development that will contribute significantly to the party’s continued electoral success.
“I congratulate Alhaji Ayuba Akinsola on his well-deserved appointment. His wealth of experience and dedication to the party will undoubtedly strengthen our structures and enhance our performance in future elections,” he added.
Adeojo expressed confidence in the new leadership team’s ability to build on past successes and further unify the party ahead of upcoming political engagements.
