The former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, has described the journey of the Olubadan-designate of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, to the throne as one endorsed by destiny and divine grace.
Engr. Olaniyan made this statement during a visit to the Olubadan-designate at his private residence in Bodija, Ibadan.
A chieftain of the All Progressives’ Congress (APC), Engr Olaniyan referred to Oba Ladoja as a great leader in all ramifications.
He expressed confidence that the monarch would deploy his endowment and wealth of experience to foster unity, peace, and development in Ibadanland and Oyo State at large.
The former Deputy Governor, who also identified himself as a mentee of Kabiyesi Ladoja, described this moment as one of light and transformation for Ibadan and the entire state.
Engr. Olaniyan wished the new Kabiyesi divine enablement, wisdom, strength, good health, and longevity on the throne of his forebears.
He prayed that Ladoja’s reign would bring forth a more united Ibadanland and a more prosperous Oyo State.
