The House of Representatives member representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, on Saturday, Sympathized with the renowned music mogul and owner of Fresh 105.9FM, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, over the fire incident that ravaged his business complex known as Music House in Ibadan.

The fire outbreak, which occurred on Friday evening, left a trail of destruction in its wake, damaging transmission equipment in the station located in the Challenge area of the City.
Agboworin, a two-term lawmaker and Chairman, House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, in a statement signed by his Media Group in Ibadan, described the inferno as sad and unfortunate.

The lawmaker’s commiseration went beyond Ayefele, as he also reached out to the Management and top broadcasters at the station including Messrs Mayor Isaac Brown, Abolade Salami, Pastor Bisi Oladele, and other staff members who were affected by the incident.



He, however, urged the management of the radio station to take it easy and not be deterred by the unfortunate incident.
The statement read, “I am deeply saddened by the news of the fire incident at the Music House owned by my good brother and friend, Dr. Yinka Ayefele. It is indeed unfortunate.

“My heart goes out to him and the entire Music House family during this time when the radio station is most needed to give the public minute-to-minute update on the ongoing bye-election in the state.
“It is unfortunate that property worth millions of naira have been destroyed as a result of the inferno, but we take solace in the fact that no lives were lost.
“I wish to urge the Management and Staff of the radio station to take it easy and not be deterred by the unfortunate incident.
“I pray that you will find the strength and necessary assistance from different quarters to ensure that the station is rebuilt and comes back on air as soon as possible.”
