Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and 2027 gubernatorial aspirant, Barr Akeem Agbaje, has congratulated the former Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Prince Ayodeji Abass-Alesinloye, on his appointment as Commissioner representing Oyo State in the Federal Character Commission (FCC) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement issued today, the two-time gubernatorial aspirant acknowledged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s appointment as recognition of Prince Alesinloye’s public service experience, particularly during his tenure as ALGON Chairman in Oyo State.
Noting the Federal Character Commission’s important role in ensuring equitable representation in government appointments, he urged the new Commissioner to bring his wealth of experience to bear in promoting unity, fairness, and equitable representation in the discharge of his duties.
