Barr. Akeem Agbaje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has extended warm greetings to Nigerian workers as the nation marks the 2025 International Workers’ Day.

In a message released to the media, Agbaje acknowledged the resilience, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication of Nigerian workers across all sectors, describing them as the backbone of national development.

He urged workers to continue raising the bar of excellence, integrity, and service in their respective fields despite the prevailing economic challenges.

“We must not relent in upholding the values of hard work and patriotism. The task of nation-building requires our collective strength, and I encourage every worker to continually strive for excellence and raise the bar of service to our nation,” Agbaje said.

He further expressed confidence in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, assuring workers of the federal government’s commitment to improving labour welfare, ensuring workplace safety, and securing lives and property across the country.

“President Tinubu’s administration remains focused on delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda. With policies that support economic recovery, inclusive growth, and the dignity of labour, I am confident that better days lie ahead.”

Wishing all workers a joyful celebration, Barr. Agbaje called on the public to remain optimistic and supportive of ongoing reforms aimed at repositioning the nation for sustainable development.
