Barr. Akeem Agbaje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in Oyo State and across the globe on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a goodwill message, Agbaje described Ramadan as a period of deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and devotion to Almighty Allah, urging Muslims to uphold the values of faith, compassion, and righteousness beyond the holy month.
“The successful completion of Ramadan is a blessing, and as we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I encourage all Muslims to sustain the dedication to worship, piety, and good deeds exemplified during the fasting period,” he said.
He also emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and mutual understanding among people of different faiths, noting that the spirit of Ramadan should continue to guide interactions and relationships within communities.
Agbaje prayed for continued peace and progress in Oyo State and the country at large, calling on Nigerians to embrace the principles of love, patience, and generosity.
