Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, the Oyo State House of Assembly member representing Ibadan North Constituency 2, has brought much-needed relief to the residents of Agbaje Ijokodo in Ward 8 and Adelove in Agbowo, Ward 12, of Ibadan North Local Government.
He commissioned new boreholes in these areas, addressing the perennial water scarcity experienced during the dry season
The commissioning ceremony was held yesterday in Agbaje Ijokodo, where community leaders, political bigwigs, and residents gathered to celebrate this significant milestone.
Hon. Babajide Gabriel not only inaugurated the borehole but also donated a powerful generator set to ensure a continuous water supply even during power outages.
The community leaders expressed their gratitude, describing the project as life-changing and praising Hon. Gabriel for his accessibility and commitment to their welfare.
Following the successful commissioning in Ward 8, Hon. Gabriel, along with his supporters, proceeded to Adelove in Agbowo, Ward 12, where he repeated the gesture.
The residents of Ward 12, including the community chairman Alhaji Taiwo Hamsat, expressed their heartfelt appreciation, noting the timely delivery of the borehole project during a critical period of water need.
The youth representative, Mr. Ayoola Mojeed Agbaje, also commended Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, highlighting his exemplary leadership and responsiveness to community needs.
In his remarks, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, fondly known as the Jagaban of Oyo State 9th and 10th Assembly, thanked the residents of Wards 8 and 12 for their unwavering support.
