
A Prominent National Market Leader, Oyo State Traders Stakeholder, Oyo Princess and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Ur’Image Couture, Princess Afolashade Abeo Nurudeen, has congratulated Dr. Lateef Idowu Oyeleke on his confirmation and appointment as the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties in Oyo State.
The Oyo-born Princess Folashade described her brother and kinsman, Dr. Oyeleke’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his competence, dedication to public service, and commitment to the development of Oyo State.
She expressed confidence that the new Commissioner for Special Duties would bring his wealth of experience and leadership qualities to bear in advancing the administration’s developmental agenda and delivering impactful results for the people of the state.
As a respected female leader and advocate for women’s advancement, Princess Abeo specially celebrated the women appointed into the Oyo State Executive Council. She congratulated Dr. (Mrs.) Adenike Ayobami Fasina, mni, on her emergence as the Head of Service of Oyo State and Alhaja Fausat Ajoke as Commissioner for Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperatives.
As a stakeholder in Oyo State Market leadership, she equally welcomed Alhaja Fausat Ajoke Sanni to her new role, expressing optimism that her wealth of experience would contribute significantly to economic growth, investment promotion, and the empowerment of businesses and cooperative societies across the state.
Princess Abeo also extended her heartfelt congratulations to Barr. Ayobami Oluwaseun Ojo on his appointment as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning.
According to her, the appointments reflect the commitment of Governor Seyi Makinde to inclusiveness, merit, competence, and effective governance.
“The emergence of these distinguished individuals into key leadership positions is a positive development for Oyo State. Their collective experience, professionalism, and dedication to service will undoubtedly contribute to the continued progress of our dear state,” she stated.
She further commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his visionary leadership and commitment to good governance, noting that the recent appointments demonstrate his resolve to strengthen the machinery of government and accelerate development across various sectors.
She offered prayers for Governor Makinde, members of the Executive Council, and the entire Oyo State Government, asking God to grant them wisdom, strength, good health, and divine guidance in the discharge of their responsibilities.
