…..Gov Makinde to decide on next move in 2027—says Prince Olukitibi
In a show of solidarity and support, stakeholders and leaders of the Oyo West People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have thrown their weight behind the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr ‘Seyi Makinde FNSE, as well as the executive Chairman of Oyo West, Hon. Prince Akeem Salam Babatunde Olukitibi.
This endorsement comes ahead forthcoming Senatorial local government meeting slated for November 6th, 2024, leaders and stakeholders’ support underscores the Governor’s numerous achievements, and transformations in leadership in Pacesetter and Southwest Nigeria
Leaders and stakeholders gathered at the local government Chairman’s quarters on Saturday to pledge their unwavering support for Governor Makinde for his exceptional leadership and citizen-centric governance approach, which has had success and record-breaking performances across all clusters of good governance.
Invariably, they expressed their confidence in the ability of Hon. Prince Akeem Salam Babatunde Olukitibi to continue delivering on his campaign promises and taking the local government to greater heights, while praising his administration on education, healthcare, and economic empowerment, among others.
The statement reads;
Oyo State has exemplified a strategic approach, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone has access to opportunities, regardless of religion, tribe, or political affiliation.
“Governor Makinde administration has witnessed productive remarkable achievement in Pacesetter State in terms of youth employment, infrastructure, agricultural economy, women inclusion in governance and decision making has contributed greatly to a roadmap to sustainable development agenda 2023-2027”.
“For us in Òyó West local government, Fashola Agric Hub has enhanced human capacity development, reduced unemployment, and expanded our economy through a series of investor inflow, which has showcased the unwavering dedication of visionary instincts of His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE”.
We leaders and stakeholders in Oyo West commended His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde for his transparency in soliciting our input on some community road networks that need improvement, rehabilitation as well as reconstruction of bridges and culverts, and other laudable projects.
We leaders from Ward One to Ten hereby express our satisfaction and support to His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE and his future ambition, as well as the administration of Prince Akeem Salam Babatunde Olukitibi, the Executive Chairman of Oyo West local government areas.
