The construction of a block of six classrooms project embarked upon by the lawmaker representing Ibadan South East/North East federal constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, at Saint Joseph Primary School, Ile-Aperin, Ward 4 of Ibadan North East area, has reached completion stage.
The project, which is part of the lawmaker’s unwavering commitment to enhancing education infrastructure in his constituency, is aimed at providing a conducive learning environment for students, which is part of Agboworin’s broader efforts to boost education and community development in his constituency.
Agboworin had, during the execution of the project, expressed satisfaction on the pace, praising the contractors for their diligence and quality work.
The project, which is due for commissioning, further reaffirms Agboworin’s commitment towards development of education in his constituency.
He emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future of the community and reiterated his dedication to ensuring access to quality education for all.
Speaking on the development, Agboworin said: “This project is a testament to the fact that I prioritize education and believe in empowering the young constituents. I am committed to delivering more initiatives that will benefit our community and foster growth in my constituency because this is exactly the promise I made to the people which, by the grace of God, I must fulfill.
“Quality education is the backbone of our nation’s future. For whatever anyone wants to achieve in life, education is very vital to acquire. So, I am committed to supporting initiatives that enhance learning outcomes for our children. This will not be the last as I will continue to do my best in this sector and other areas to make this constituency meaningful for our people.”
Reacting to the development, a few community leaders and residents who spoke praised Agboworin’s hands-on approach and commitment to important infrastructure and projects in the constituency.
One of the residents interviewed, said: “Hon. Agboworin’s dedication to our community is inspiring. We are really grateful for his efforts to improve our children’s education. Agboworin’s constituency development initiatives have gained significant momentum since his election. This school project is one of several underway, aiming to address infrastructure gaps and enhance public services.”
According to another resident: “Agboworin is making great strides in his constituency. He embarked on this school project recently and we can see that it is now completed. No doubt, this is a demonstration of commitment to improving education infrastructure.
“Judging from what I know, this project is likely one of the many initiatives he has undertaken to benefit his constituents.”
A community leader in the area also described the gesture as an act of “showing keen interest in education and community development.”
“His efforts to provide quality facilities for students are commendable, and this project’s completion will undoubtedly enhance learning experience in the school because of the ambience and conducive environment.
“Agboworin’s dedication to his constituents is evident. His re-election was likely a testament to his hard work and engagement with the community,” he stated.
