In a gesture of kindness and support, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, a lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency II in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has donated bags of cement and blocks to the victims of the recent fire outbreak at Gbaremu Market.

The fire incident, which occurred last week, left many traders and shop owners counting their losses. However, Hon. Babajide’s timely intervention has brought hope and relief to the affected victims.

During the presentation of the building materials, Hon. Babajide expressed his sympathy for the victims and reiterated his commitment to their welfare.

“I understand the pain and hardship caused by this fire incident, and I want to assure you that I will do everything in my power to support you,” he said.

The victims, who were visibly moved by the lawmaker’s gesture, thanked him profusely and praised his kindness.

“We are grateful for your support, sir. Your donation will go a long way in helping us rebuild our businesses and lives,” said one of the victims.

The donated building materials are expected to aid the reconstruction of the damaged shops and stalls, enabling the traders to resume their businesses and regain their livelihoods.

Hon. Babajide’s donation has been hailed as a noble gesture, demonstrating his dedication to the well-being of his constituents.

His selfless act has set a shining example for others to follow, and his constituents are indeed fortunate to have him as their representative.

He also assured the victims of continued support from the Oyo State House of Assembly in providing additional relief materials to help mitigate their losses.
