In marking a hundred days in office, the Councilor representing Alaodi/Modeke Ward 03, Hon. Adesina Bashiru Kehinde (A.K.A Olafat), and Special Adviser to the Chairman on Health, Hon. Zenith Tunji Yusuf,f, have empowered some selected party faithful with the sum of #10,000 each in Oyo East local government areas.


The event, which was held on Thursday at Alaodi-Modeke Community Hall, Oyo, the beneficiaries include Mr. Akee Akinloye, Yekinni Ajara, Ganiyu Adebayo, Rasaki Ariyo, Yekinni Misirafa, Muritala Fausat, Moshood Yemisi, Taiwo Agboluaje, Raheem Akeem, Taiwo Isa, Adeleke Margaret and Alakitan Serifat.
While speaking shortly after the disbursement of Cash, Hon. Adesina Bashiru Kehinde stated that the gesture was part of their efforts to reach out to his people on promises made during the electioneering campaign.

The Hon Councilor further encouraged the members who have not made the list of beneficiaries to exercise patience adding that he is planning to extend more of the special gesture back to his constituents; he assured them that everyone will be rewarded to feel the impact of dividends of democracy at no cost.

Hon. Adesina Bashiru Kehinde further applauded the achievement of the Executive Chairman of Oyo East local government, Hon. Oluokun Olusola Peter, on his developmental stride, the revival of the council equipment such as Grader, Payloader, Bulldozer, and others, for the benefits and development of the Community.
He also praised the Chairman for giving new life to the Oyo East Local Government through the payment of the long overdue debt to IBEDC and the revival of the long-abandoned MIKANO Power Plant for the usage of the Council.
Also, Honourable Councilor and S.A on health Zenith Tunji Yusuff appreciated former Speaker of Oyo State and Distinguish Senator Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, as well as the former Member of the federal House of Representatives, Hon. Maroof Akinwande for their advisory roles and maximum supports for the smooth running of the present administration in Oyo East local government ably chaired by Hon. Olusola Peters Oluokun.
In their separate goodwill message, Alhaji Jagun, Hon. Mumini Ganiyu, and Alhaji Waheed applauded the honorable councilor and special assistants to the chairman on Health for their milk of human kindness, urging them not to relent and strive for more democratic dividends.
Equally, the Ward Youth leader, Woman Leader, and Elder Chairman show appreciation to both the Councilor and S.A. for the cash empowerment, praying for hitch-free administration.
