The Political Head of the Sooro Local Council Development area Hon. Badmus Ismail Olaide, on Wednesday, commenced palliative measures on Saabo Oranyan Road, as well as Saabo-Idi Odan Road to bring succor to the motorist.
Hon. Badmus Ismail had earlier visited the area together with the Honourable Councillors, representing Ward 8,9 and 10, and the management team addressed motorists, and commuters of the Saabo community, assuring them of palliative measures to ease their suffering.
One of the commuters gave the accounts of happenings on the road which the council boss, assured the residents that work would commence on the roads soonest.
Speaking during the commencement of the Palliative measures today, the political head Hon. Badmus Ismail Olaide said; “The responsibility of any responsive government is to enhance welfare and well-being of her people, to achieve this, we have decided to bring succor to motorists, commuters in the Sabo Oranyan Road and Sabo Idi Odan Road Axis”.
“While we understand their pains, we have decided to use this little approach to ameliorate the present dark era of ugly roads in the axis”.
The Vice Chairman further assured residents of the area that the much-talked-about construction of the road will commence soon, noting that necessary actions will be taken through the State government approval.
