The Legislative Arms of the Royal Council, Atiba local government, Offa-meta, Oyo has screened and cleared all Supervisory Councilors and Special Assistants Nominees to the council for a proper swearing-in ceremony.

Screening of the prospective council political functionaries known as grassroots nominees held at the legislative hallow chamber, Offa-meta Oyo.

The productive screenings exercise shows the competence of the Supervisors and special assistants, unfolded dividends of democracy to drive positive change, and restored the lost glory of the Royal Council.

In his speech shortly after the proper screening, the leader of the House, Rt. Hon. Ademola Kayode lauded the visionary insight of the supervisors and special assistants nominees in charge of supervising day-to-day affairs of the departments assigned to them while special assistants were to offer major functions of advising the council Chairman in the performance of their duties or matters related to their field of expertise.

He also reaffirmed the functions of the nominees majorly to give directives to the Heads of Departments on policy matters, but not on administrative or management matters.

The House further urged the screened and confirmed nominees to use their vast experience to promote the socio-economic well-being of the residents of the Royal Council.

The screened Supervisor nominees are; Hon. Tijani Muideen Oyedele, Hon. Bolaji Johnson Folorunsho, Hon. Salaudeen Musa Adebayo, Hon. Opabode Liadi, Hon. Abodunrin Eyitayo Lawrence, Hon. Oguntola Waheed Adeseun, Hon. Adeniran Dorcas Opeyemi, Hon. Quadri Olaitan Akinola, Hon. Oriade Aminat and Hon. Lasisi Afeez Ajibola.
