Photonews: Atiba First Lady, Mrs. Adetunji Distributes Food Items To Widows

The Wife of the Executive Chairman of Atiba local government, Hon. Mrs. Oluwakemi Adetunji, has donated food items, to some of the widows across the ten wards in the Royal Council.

Among the food items donated were; rice, vegetable oil, cartons of Maggie seasonings, and salts. Mrs. Oluwakemi also makes cash donations.

In a statement released and made available to Heritage Echo correspondence, Mrs. Adetunji reaffirmed that the gesture was to assist the less privileged ones, especially the widows to ameliorate their suffering and reduce their costs of living.

While lauding the First Lady of Pacesetter State, Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde for her motherly support, added that her support was given to ensure that women were carried along in the affairs of the council, noting that the item would ameliorate their sufferings.

Mrs. Adetunji used the medium to call on individuals and organizations to emulate the Governor’s wife, Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, while commending her for support and assistance to the widows, orphans, and vulnerable in the State.

She further urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the items presented to them, while urging them to also utilize the little funds given to them to start small businesses of their choice.
