The vice chairman and political head of Oyo Southwest Local Council development areas, Alhaji Hon. Nureni Alade has felicitated with the Muslims faithful on the occasion of Eid el Adha festival.
In a statement released and made available to newsmen on Sunday, Alade urged the Muslims Ummah to imbibe spirits of togetherness, arms of giving to the poor and Unity.
The political head advised the residents to remember the significance of selflessness, generosity and benevolent.
According to him; “As we celebrate this blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha, I extend my warmest wishes to all my Muslim brothers and sisters in Nigeria and around the world. May this festive season bring you and your loved ones joy, peace, and prosperity”.
Eid al-Adha is a time of reflection, sacrifice, and gratitude. It reminds us of the importance of faith, compassion, and unity. As we gather to commemorate the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son in obedience to God’s command, let us also remember the significance of selflessness and devotion in our own lives.
“On this auspicious day, I pray for our beloved country, Nigeria. May Allah grant us peace and stability, guiding our leaders to make wise decisions that will uplift our nation. I pray for the strength and resilience of every Nigerian, as we work together to overcome our challenges and build a brighter future”.
