Ogbomoso Development A Collective Responsibility, Says Ogunlade, Pays ‘thank-you visit’ To Soun, OthersÂ

The newly elected local government chairman of Ogbomoso North, Hon. George Ogunlade has paid a thank you visit to Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye Orumogege III, and other well wishers following his inauguration ceremony on Thursday.

Ogunlade, who was in company of party members and leaders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP, equally visited the Local Government secretariat and the LCDA Oja Igbo, where he sought prayers and blessings for his administration.

The gesture demonstrated the chairman’s commitment to collaboration and respect for traditional institutions. 

During the visit, he expressed his deep appreciations to everyone for the opportunity given to him to serve, stating that the progress of Ogbomosho is a collective responsibility that requires the efforts of all stakeholders. 

Ogunlade who equally expressed his gratitude to Governor Makinde, assured the people of Ogbomoso North local government not to betray the trust and confidence placed in him. 

The visit highlighted the importance of spiritual guidance and community support in the chairman’s vision for Ogbomosho’s progress.

The monarch, in his remarks, congratulated the elected chairman and councilors and encouraged them to work towards the development of the community.
