Oyo State Agency for the Control of AIDS (OYSACA) in collaboration with the AIDS prevention initiative in Nigeria (APON Public Health Initiative) has reiterated its commitment to putting an end to HIV infection in Oyo State.
This was disclosed recently by the chairman of the agency, Dr. Gbolagade Adetunji, while paying a courtesy visit to the APIN Oy Office, ay Bodija area, Ibadan.
He acknowledged APIN’s partnership and support to Oyo SACA over the years and stated that they had been instrumental to the progress recorded by the State so far.
Dr. Adetunji briefed the APIN team on some new initiatives planned by the agency and sought APIN’s support to bring them to fruition, especially some of its monthly and quarterly meetings.
