Barely 10 days to the 2024 local government elections in Pacesetter State, a renowned women’s wing in Oyo West, under its Coordinator, Mrs. Suliyat Azeez has begun a House-to-house campaign across all households in the model council to garner Over 5,000 votes for the re-election bid of Hon. Prince Akeem Salam Babatunde Olukitibi and his vice Hon. Alhaji Nureni Alade Adesola.

According to the group coordinator, Mrs, Suliyat Azeez affirmed that the group adopted a House-to-house campaign strategy to intensify the election campaign for all the PDP candidates toward resounding victory.

To achieve the productive feat, Mrs. Suliyat reaffirmed that necessary materials are in place, noting that volunteers will enter a household, meet the members of the household, and directly persuade them to vote for Olukitibi/Alade and all the 10 Councilorship candidates.

She explained further that the exercise will seek to enunciate the performance of the executive Chairman who is seeking re-election and what they should expect in the next three years of sustainable governance if elected.

“PDP remains the only party that can deliver prosperity, dividends, and development, APC has nothing to offer rather than hardship” she asserted.

The deep-rooted canvassers are optimistic of a landslide victory stressing that the electorates are eager to vote for all PDP candidates with the assurance of recording over 5,000 votes through the house-to-house campaign.

“We’ll use the next 10 days to work for the actualization of a resounding victory for democracy, Prince Olukitibi/Alade has performed wonderfully well, and the best way to realize their mandate rested on house-to-house campaign” Mrs. Suliyat said.
