The Executive Chairman of Oyo West local government, Ojongbodu, Oyo who is seeking re-election bid, Hon. Prince Akeem Salam Babatunde Olukitibi has felicitated with the Christian faithful on the Easter celebration, urging the model council residents to use the festive period to pray for rapid development.
In a statement released and made available to Heritage Echo News, the council Boss Olukitibi advised Oyo West residents to emulate the lifestyle of the Lord Jesus Christ which preaches Unity, Compassion, and Love for peaceful Coexistence as well as nation-building.
Prince Akeem Olukitibi further charges his people to use the Easter festive to pray for their helpers and overcome the current economic hardship.
“On behalf of the good of Oyo West Local Government, I rejoice with the people’s Governor of Oyo State and all our Christian brothers and sisters on the occasion of the year 2024 Easter celebration”.
“In this difficult time, let’s forgive and forget all the misdeeds of fellow Human beings, to pave the way for Progress and development” he charged.
