The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, candidate in the coming Local Government election in Ona Ara, Dr. Kolapo Temitope popularly known as GLORIOUS, weekend promises to emulate Governor Seyi Makinde’s Track Record.
This was gathered through the Media unit of the Glorious/Windapo campaign organisation led by Chief Waheed Ajao Adurodekun, while unveiling his manifesto tagged ”NEW ERA” agenda, aimed at revitalizing the region and ushering in a period of positive transformation.
The “NEW ERA” agenda encompasses six key pillars, each designed to address critical areas of need and drive sustainable development in Ona-Ara LGA:
- Nourishing ONA-ARA Heritage: Dr. Kolapo’s agenda includes initiatives to preserve and enhance Ona-Ara’s rich heritage, such as asset maintenance, sustainable landscaping practices, and public safety enhancements.
- Education Per Excellence: Dr. Kolapo is committed to promoting educational excellence through initiatives such as information empowerment hubs, scholarship programs, and educational orientation platforms.
- Welfare & Social Services: Dr. Kolapo aims to improve welfare and social services by establishing an Ona-Ara LG database, enhancing access to healthcare services, and revitalizing sports and empowerment initiatives.
- Economic Growth & Development: Dr. Kolapo seeks to foster economic growth and development by creating a conducive environment for businesses, embracing technology and innovation, and attracting investment.
- Road & Infrastructures Management: Dr. Kolapo’s agenda includes initiatives to improve road and infrastructure management, such as road maintenance, traffic management, and refuse clearing programs.
- Agricultural Improvement: Dr. Kolapo plans to bolster agricultural development through initiatives such as organizing low-cost markets, supporting farmers, and providing specialized empowerment for youth in agriculture.
